Intensifying of mutual relationships between students and instructors based on the viewing of currently developing student films in comparison with classical works. Creation of film theory, refining opinions and development of abilities to defend one's work.

The assembly is obligatory for all Documentary Dept. students (to receive credit the minimal participation is 3 full days). Students receive stipendia for room and board at Poněšice. Traditionally, this is an unique opportunity for the a meeting of all students and instructors of the dept, filled with fruitful discussions about films, situations and events in the dept and the surrounding world.

Each student brings specific learnings (many have already studied at other secondary institutions). Debates about current sociological, political and philosophical issues. We expect students to come with questions on these subjects (from their own sources).
