Documentary and Editing Depts. students collaborating on the script for the „Studio Etude“ exercise.

Mode of study:

Text analysis, discussion, moderated discussion, writing.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Students are to prepare their own subject matter which they develop in a script.

Course contents:

A combined course for 2nd year students in the Scriptwriting and Script Editing, and Documentary Depts. The aim is script (and dramaturgy) preparations for the studio etude of 10 minutes in length. The topic selection is to correspond with the personal intentions of the writers and the given implementation parameters. Character and actor. Reality and fictional forms of reality. Story and form for film narration.
