Introductory TV Exercise - Editing for Live TV

Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim is a fundamental knowledge of working with a 3-camera system in a television studio. This covers the selection of an appropriate text, camera placement composition in the studio and the creation of functional space-time.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Completion of „Live Edit.“

Recommended optional programme components:

No elective requirements necessary.

Course contents:

A simple acting etude according to a script for students to edit is recorded with a three-camera assembly in the studio. The result is live edited. Additional post-production recorded sequences are part of the exercise.

Student from the entire study year implement the exercise together in all professions.

Recommended cooperation with the FAMU Production Dept., and other students of HAMU and DAMU.

The exercise may be implemented in cooperation with Czech Television, or TV Metropol.

The Television takes part in monetary and other support.
