The course is focused on landscape photography and architecture in their interaction, development of architecture in accordance to particular movements through the history to the present. Emphasis will be placed on both proficient technical processing and capturing of the uniqueness of the objects. The large format cameras or middle format cameras with shift lenses will be used and for capturing of the first impression can be used cine-film or digital camera. Within the subject of landscape photography we will work on photographic mapping of particulat locations with focus on its characteristic and unique elements. This topic also encompasses city landscape.

In the theory section of the course basic knowledge about the different methods of photography of architecture will be presented. Examples of different architectural movements will be shown. During the photographing students will be guided to information about the building and its purpose.

3 / topical photographic events - will be implemented during each semester. Photographs have to be presented and will be evaluated according to the prescribed rules.

Grading:
Exam: evaluation of the submitted tasks in which the maintenance of the assignment, quality of processing and personal creative interpretation is evaluated.
Participation: a condition for evaluating the student is a required 70% participation at lectures, participation at on-location assemblies and submission of photos at required group consultations established at the beginning of course instruction.
