The workshop will focus on potential linking an image, photograph, sound and/or music. In meetings this will involve, primarily, a creative original approach and topical debates. In development of topic tasks it may be viewed from several perspectives. Primarily, it is possible to be inspired by the composition, assess its realtionship to the sound material and create a collection of images (photographs, photograms, scores, etc.) which will be a reaction to the given topic, a conversation between the image and music. Another possiblility for creating a collection of photos is to search for appropriate sound accompaniment, music (singing, noise...), collect sounds from the environment, or have a piece composed for one's requirements. The joining of image and sound elements should be justified. Students will be able to select or propose their concepts. Audio-visual projects may arise linking image and music on one whole. It is possible to create an interactive object, a music experiment with the use of photography or other technical images. An open approach to the use of a wide range of media and techniques, this depends on agreements in individual consultations. A minimum of tools may be use without technical demands. This is an test of one's approach and creativity. Sound or recording technology is not required.
In the workshop, students will be introduced to the creations of artists working with graphic arts and music. Visits with some significant figures working with these topics are planned.
