Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The course aim is to introduce issues of mathematics as the basis from which students pull knowledge for understanding the inherent laws of electro-acoustics, whose knowledge is necessary for the study and related technical courses.

Knowledge of mathematics at the pre-college level.

Course contents:

1. Real number sets, their characteristics. Complex number sets. Concept of the real function of one or more variables. Even, odd and periodic number functions. Inversion and complex functions.

2. Function limits and their characteristics. Point and interval function linkages. Fundamental elementary functions: powers, exponential, logarithmic, goniometric, cyclometric and hyperbolic functions.

3. Derivative functions, their geometric and physics significance. Sum, product, fraction derivation functions and complex functions. Inversion derivations functions. Elementary derivation function. Higher order dervation, Partial derivation.

4. Lagrange's mean value theorem. L' Hopital's rule. Local and absolute extreme functions. Taylor's formula. Maclaurin's elementary function polynomials

5. indefinite integral. Primitive functions and their basic characteristics and calculation. By parts and substitutive methods. Examples.
