This course facilitates the student achieving a basic knowledge of producer planning with an emphasis on a particular project underway.

Course contents:

The course consist of three blocks: piching preparation, pitching itself and preproduction meeting.

Recommended or required reading:

Any FAMU International project - short film on DVD - analysis of the production preparation procedures.

Any (short film) project - from official DVD distribution - analysis of the producer's planning procedures with a view to distribution and festival presentations.

Material from the FAMU Library (film production).
