Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The goal of the Dramatic Writing Project 2 is to complete a screenplay of 60-120 pages in length. Students should deepener their knowledge of and ability to create dramatic writing, and have a complete first draft that is suitable for either presentation or for submission for future rewriting for the Graduation Project.

Mode of study:

The project will be written with regular consulation with the project tutor.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Sucessful completetion of Dramatic Writing Project 1 is necessary before beginning this project.

Course contents:

During Screenwriting Tutorial 4, student screenwriters will complete work on their dramatic writing project which may be either an adaptation of a literary work or an original screenplay for a feature film or a TV pilot.

Assessment methods and criteria:

The project will be evaluated by a committee at the close of the semester. Based on the recommendation of the committee, the tutor will determine the final grade.
