Course contents:

1. Power of Imagination (joint exercise for directing and cinematography students)

Student shoots the image without synch sound. Not specified; student may tell a story, create a documentary or poetic film. It is important to produce the sound separately and use it in a creative way.

Production: CZ producing student, 2 shooting days.

Technical parameters: 2 rolls (120m) of 35mm film, color or BW, final length: max. 5 min.

Screening: May

(compulsory: cinematography + directing)

OR

2. Short Fiction (joint exercise for directing and cinematography students)

Student writes and shoots his/her auteur short fiction film.

Production: CZ producing student, 5 shooting days.

Technical parameters: digital camera, lighting equipment, sound mixing (7 hours in Studio) final length: max 10 mins.

Screening: May

(compulsory: cinematography + directing)

OR

3. Documentary project (joint exercise for directing and cinematography students).

Each student produces his/her own auteur documentary film.

Production: CZ producing student, CDM cinematography student.
