Course contents:

The aim of this course is to expand basic (previously acquired) knowledge of the CDM program in planning and managing shooting, understanding the role of the producer and overlapping into the responsibilities of the Head producer.

This course is primarily to aid directing students in the awareness of the necessity of preparations and enable them to collaborate on the projects of colleagues as the producer.

Lecture content is analyses of current and planned student CDM students with an emphasis on production work.

- libovolný projekt FAMU International - krátkometrážní snímek na DVD - rozbor postupu produkčních příprav

- libovolný projekt (krátkometrážní film) - z oficiální DVD distribuce - rozbor postupu produkčních příprav u reálného, komerčního projektu a porovnání se studentským projektem

- materiály z knihovny FAMU (filmová produkce)

Planned learning activities and teaching methods:

Optional excursions: Studio Barrandov (lab, storage, studios), a visit to real shooting (feature film, TV film, commercial).

Assessment methods and criteria:

Doložení absolvovaní/spolupráce na projektu CDM (nebo jiného školního projektu FAMU) na pozici produkčního.
