Introduction to the phonetic, grammatic and lexical basics of the given language.

Ability to react in simple everyday situations.

Reading, listening, presentation of and practice of grammar structures and lexis, Moderated dialogues.

This course is intended for studentw who have never studied the language.

If the student is not able to attend instruction because of extenuating circumstances (internship, competitions, serious health issues), the student is required to contact the course instructor, obtain materials and arrange consultation hours. Otherwise, the student will not be awarded credit nor permitted to sit the exam.
