The course aim is formation of music imagination and application of conductor technique in practice.

Attendance of rehearsals of subscription concerts of all available orchestras.

Course contents:

Study and public performance of various style period compositions including concertante acommpaniment.

Recommended or required reading:

Compositions are governed by the dramaturgy of public orchestra concerts.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Attendance of department instructors and students at a given concert and subsequent assessment of the audio and video recording in class. Credit.
