Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The course aim is the study of fundamental Czech and world opera repertoire at the piano, management of interpretive and conducting issues (analysis of opera as a music-drama form, working with voices, instrumentation, chor settings, style, tempos, etc.).

Study of selected opera works from the 18th to 20th centuries and their conducting from the piano.
