Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The course aim is to introduce students to characteristic composition elements of an opera work. Unity of all components participant in an opera performance. Conductor practice methods with individual elements of an opera ensemble. Study plan and procedure. Conductor collaboration with the director and designer. Conductor's organization on opera operations.

Introduction to opera interpretation issues, such as the music-drama form. Theory instructions for working with an opera ensemble and the conductor's activities in opera operations.
