Expanding methods and instruction knowledge beyond the teaching.

Course contents:

Curriculum framework:

II year:

- extensive works of J.S. Bach

- Sonata or variation forms of the Vienna Classic

- Three concert etudes (one Chopin)

- free selection of compositions from the Romantic period and the 20th century.

Recommended or required reading:

Basic piano literature of the Baroque, Pre-Classical, Vienna Classic, Romatic, Impressionistic and pivotal repertoire of the 20th century (Prokofiev, Debussy, Ravel and others). This basic literature is expanded to the required repertoire for various national and international piano competitions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods:

Obligatory performance in Piano courses.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Marking from the main study according to the commission exam results.
