Managing playing in a symphony orchestra, mastering compositions of a symphony repertoire. Emphasis is placed on the technical flexibility to master a composition in the shortest time. Independent preparation of a part in the bowing and fingering aspects. Introduction to the practical side of playing in an orchestra - following conductor gestures, collective interpretation thought, tuning and intonation, the role of the concert master and leading groups.
