It also helps student understand tuba playing and it practical uses. Considering that at this school level the standard and skills of the pupils is different, this method covers each level separately. First of all the methodology aspect covers all attributes of tuba playing directly in the student's playing. The all method exercises are defined. This is proper breathing, creating a tone, proper embouchure, fingering technique, performance and literature. This course covers breath, tone, embouchure, holding of the instrument, muscle relaxation and lightness in overall coordination. Breath in tuba playing is one of the most important factors. The entire futher development and potential depends on the mastery of proper breath technique. Breathing is methodically practiced using breathing exercises. Creating tone is closely related to this. Linked to breathing methodology is embouchure and an analysis of proper setting and particular pressure of the lips and the upper and lower teeth. Proper tongue function is divided into to parts. The first covers setting, various types and potential. The second covers staccato, its speed, length and quality.
