Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Final organizational preparations for the Master's choreography graduation project. This course links together all to-date knowledge acquired throughout study and devotes attention particularly to organizational issues in the final preparations of the master's study graduation performance.

Mode of study:

Lecture, classes, exercises.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Student must have graduated from the choreography baccalaureate study at the Dance Dept. HAMU or equivalent.

Recommended optional programme components:

No elective required for this course.

Course contents:

Study graduation staging. Close instructive monitoring of the artistic and choreographic development of the graduate work and interested critical discussions with the student on the given topic. Instructional assistance and advise in the final phase of staging before the premiere: costumes, set, lighting and technical rehearsal. In the case of live music accompaniment, rehearal with the music ensemble. Managment of organizational and managerial issues: managing finances, organizing invitations, posting posters, and potential press conferences, TV shots, premiere invitations, etc. The instructor is care for the good start of the new choreographer and facilitate an entrance into harsh reality.
