- Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The course aim is to develop choreography experience through diverse choreographic tasks. Issues of the relationship of dance to everyday movement, movement stylization, relationship of dance and music (sound), dance and the graphic arts, etc. Emphasis is on the creativity of the students. Course assignment: Composition created on the basis of rhythm, 1-3 performers.

Knowledge of the basics of composition. Ability to create movement motifs for given music in real time. Experience in working with an artist and multiple artists. Regular attendance in class.

- Course contents:

The course includes a development of working with fundamental composition elements - time, space, dynamic, rhythm. Creation of a movement motif based on an assigned task. Movement stylization and movement intonation, movement characteristics of a figure, composing solos, duets and trios with an emphasis on spatial relationships.
