- Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim of the course is to develop the choreographic experience of the students through diverse choreography tasks. These will handle issues of the relationship of dance and everyday movement, movement stylization, relationship of dance and music (sound), dance and the graphic arts, etc. Emphasis is on the creativity of the student. The course assignment: 3-5 min. composition based on a selected visual idea, music choice is free, 1-3 performers.

Knowledge of the basics of composition. Ability to create movement motifs for given music in real time. Experience in working with an artist and multiple artists. Regular attendance in class.

This program develops composition procedures. students, based on movement intonation, motifs which are developed into a short form. Students are introduced to the creation of dance forms in tune with given music (basic a,b,a form, variations, suites...). Additionally they student forms of dance actions.
