- Course contents:

Child motivation and sensitive approach to them: Explaining the basics of child motivation for a particular activity. Understanding of the world of children and efforts to approach children's mentality. Recognizing individual nature types (Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholic, Phlegmatic), efforts to undertand the properties of individual nature types and their particulars. Perception of the needs of children, manners of working with them in movement and dance training lessons. Introduction of model lesson examples. Efforts in finding necessary motivation for a given activity.
Fine and basic motor skills: Manners of developing motor activity through games. Further methods of developing movement coodination, movement fluidity and its improvement. Emphasis is placed on the development of fine hand motor activity in fine motor activity.
Movement training, improvisation and dancing games: Mastering the creation of lessons for individual muscle groups, joints and tendons at the fundamental and elemental levels corresponding to age and maturity of the child. Explaining basic concepts (form, rhythm and dynamics of movement) and working with those concepts in a lesson. Close cooperation with a coach in the lesson. Precise setting of rhythm and tempo. Explanation of further requirements of music accompaniment. Improvisation is an inseparable part of instruction, therefore it is necessary the students learn to investigate appropriate motives (close to the world of children - fairy tale figures, animals, weather, nature..) and work with them. To know how to give children improvisations and sensitively assess them. To use childrens' suggestions for further lessons. Dance games are a source of movement, space and music experience for children. Students learn how to work with them and use creative games for further works with children.
Lesson organization: Instruction of model parts of lessons in dance training for various age categories. Student collaboration in the creation of individual exercises and larger parts of a dance training. Organization and arrangement of dance training lessons related to child age and maturity.
