The course aim is to introduce students to the Pilates method, in particular its use in dance in the training of future dance artists.

- Course contents:

1. Through a specially constructed series of exercises, strength, balance, and flexibility are developed and muscle unbalance, is eliminated. The center of the body is strengthened, so called POWERHOUSE. Emphasis is placed on breathing (coordination of breath and movement), thorough execution (quality is more important than quantity), movement management (necessity of complete control of the executed movement), concentration (awareness of working with the body in every phase of movement. The body and mind closely work together)
