To introduce students to the basic theory, concept and research in the area of music psychology.

Course contents:

Music psychology is a scientific discipline applying modern psychology knowledge in music. This course will be analysed through the following topics:

1. Music and emotions

2. The ontogenesis of musicality

3. Concept of the composer, performer and listener in the music psychology context

4. Music Psychology diagnostics

5. Music Therapy.
