Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Acquaint students with agency and organizer environments in the Czech Republic and selected agencies/organizers abroad.

Mode of study:

Interactive instruction, discussion, webpage and information resource analysis

One's own project prepared and executed beyond the study plan requirements.

Course contents:

1. agent, organizer - basic terminology

2. history of agencies in the Czech Republic (music)

3. artist representation - contractual relationships, tax issues, manner of representation

4. professional associations

5. agencies and organizers, in the classical music sphere, active in the Czech Republic.

6. the most important agencies abroad

7. Excursions abroad

8. collaboration with foreign artists and agencies.
