Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim is a synthesis of acquired knowledge and one's creativity.

Creation of a complete set-design project.

Summary of learnings from all disciplines which participated in the creation of a set-design work.

Mode of study:

Assignment analysis. Individual consultations on prepared sketches, project concept and direction (music).

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Successful fulfillment of the to date instruction program. Ability to sythesize acquired characteristics. Conceptual thinking.

Recommended optional programme components:

Individual research of new technologies and procedures of contemporary scenic design. Assisting, internships.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods:

Studio instruction, individual consultation, presentation and explication of set-design work.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Independent studio work and at least 80% attendance at consultations are required. The summary paper is required for completion of the course.
