Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The purpose of the course is the use of student creative initiatives, primarily outside of their study obligations, an enrichment of study potential in activities outside the basic study, acquisition of personal experience through participation in new non-commericial projects and festivals, and subsequent personal review.

Mode of study:

Preparations, implementation and subsequent review of performances, installations and multi-media events arising from stimuli in the semester tasks and potential offered to students in collaboration with theatre, schools, galleries, topical festivals and other cultural institutions. To go across all study-years and support student teamwork which the students would not ordinarily encounter in study.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Creative initiative. Creativity. Bearing in indirect environments. Original creations. Implementation of conceptual skills.

Possible individual recommendations considering the project intentions.

Course contents:

1. A staging idea and its consultations

2. Directing-dramaturgy-set design concept

3. Staging preparations and creation of the implementation team

4. Study of staging

5. Review

6. Potential presentation of the staging at colloquia and festivals.

Recommended or required reading:

Recommendations by the instructor according to the needs of individual projects.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods:

Enriching study in not regular artistic activities. Creating a space for first contact in non-school spaces. Creating projects as the basis of future artistic work.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Evaluation of artistic creativity resulting from the monitored creation process as well as the subsequent stage form.
