Artistic tools have gone through, in the last decades, stormy changes in relation to new technological procedures and in relation to the development of multi-cultural societies. The 21st Century Alternatives course will, in lectures, present particular currents of contemporary performance art which exists on the borders of graphic and theatre expression. As well, this theory presentation develops student art projects focused on site-specific or participatory intervention in a public space. In these projects, students are acquainted with the basics of artistic, curatorship and production procedures which characterize arts in public spaces.
