Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Student ability to find a language (body, image and verbal) as a means of communication in particular qualities in non-theatre environments and non-theatre communities. To creat a spectral approach in social-cultural animation.

Mode of study:

Theory and practice bearing in space in theatre and non-theatre surroundings and contexts. Interstudy labs on the borders between genres and styles. Concept preparations, consultations, implementation and subsequent review of stage events coming from impulses from personal semester assignments and from potential offered to the students in cooperating with public administration, schools and other social-cultural institutions.This crosses all study-years and supports student teamwork which they don't encounter in regular studies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Spatial-temporal sense, teamwork, creativity and attitude towards work in non-traditional spaces and its link to the context of a theatre piece.

Recommended optional programme components:

Attendance at a wide variety of events (festivals, reviews, exhibitions and performances in non-traditional spaces). Participation in organized workshops. Joining grant competitions. Preparations of one's project, either implemented or in a preparation phase.

Course contents:

Body and material in the compilation of biomechanics in architecture. Movement, stopping and fluidity.

Dimensions of time-space. Time in an event, thought out, time for reaction. Time acceleration. Time for rest. Time for exiting.
