Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Enable students to formulate evaluation criteria for dramatic works for children. Introduce students to subject literature. Contemplate a little regarding explored issues.

Mode of study:

Readings, discussion, media recording sample analyses, text analyses.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

- Completion of Literature Theory and History for children and youth.

- Ability to analyze and interpret artistic text and dramatic work.

- Interest in creations for children and youth.

No elective requirements.

Course contents:

An elective course which provides students a glimpse into issues of theatre for children and youth.

- presentation of assesment criteria for drama programs for children

- viewing selected recorded performances, films or television productions

- discussions over viewed programs.

- Sections in the history of theatre for children and youth.
