Learning outcomes of the course unit:

- To recognize production from all perspectives in common practice.

- Acquisition of experience in the theatre creative process

- Introduction to all elements of the theatre process and their part in production

- Acquisition of skills, essential for theatre with children and youth.

Mode of study:

Aggregate work, one's creativity, discussion, text analyses.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

This instruction continues lectures in Theatre theory and based on acquired skills and knowledge in theatre practice. This course is coordinated with the concurrent courses (particularly the authorial-dramatic seminar, stage design, acting training and working with props and puppets, incidental music).

Recommended optional programme components:

No elective requirements.

Course contents:

Students learn the particulars of directing from the position of the directed and the director in a constant movement among jobs and their theory counterparts. This course is completed with s a small theatre piece whose purpose is to provide students with experience in the generation of a theatre production in all phases, contributing to the development of their theatre skills, to see the differences in theatre work with adults and children and employ study subjects and support the connects among them.

Credit is awarded based on:

- exercise participation

- participation in the group theatre creation.

During the semester independent reading of trade literature and participation in class and exercises and the production , which is part of the exam are required.

Conditions for successfull completion of the project: participation in the group theatre project.
