Learning outcomes of the course unit:

What are Project Management(PM) principles? What is Project Management (PM) good for and where can it be used? What is the difference between managing through a project and traditional linear management? What areas does Project Management (PM) cover?

The main thing to know: how to work with the basic dimensions of project management: line up the assignment and develop into defined goals and indicators, which are evaluated as to whether the goal was reached.

Prepare for a festival: Tasks from the contractor, developing defined goals and indicators, developing milestones, learning project management tools (Charter, Scheduling, Risks, evaluation methods.)

Mode of study:

The course takes place over 3 days (in 8 instruction hours). The course combines study lectures with discussions, practical exercises and student independent work on an assigned topic.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

This course anticipates working in teams on a particular group project: ZLOMVAZ.

Course contents:

The basic tools of project management related to preparations for the ZLOMVAZ festival: Project charter, Schedule, Budget.

How to work in a group - the art of creating agreements, the art of respecting others.
