Eszter Hajdu was born in 1979 in Budapest. She studied, among others, electronic media at the University of Szeged and sociology at ELTE University in Budapest. She also studied in Stockholm and was „trained“ in film in Italy and Romania. She received a degree at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest and currently is studying for her PhD, in Directing in Portugal.

Eszter Hajdu shoots films regarding persons and communities because their stories are memorable experiences and inspiration for others. Believe that the discovery of them and the acceptance of them is the key to finding harmony in the world and within ourselves. This focuses on people and groups which are excluded from the societies in which they live.
