Course contents:

Modul will guide us not only throught contemporary indian independent cinema and its roots throught sceernings of many short previews and screenings of three full feature films: Our Daily Bread, (Uski Roti, directed by: Mani Kaul, 1969), Ship Of Theseus (directed by: Anand Gandhi, 2013), Six Feet High (Oraalppokkam, directed by: Sanalkumar Sasidharan, 2014), but mainly we will also discover the beauty of the content and originality of its film language. We will also aproach throught screened films towards the paradoxes of life and filmmaking in India.

Active aproach towards the subject and cooperation. The written analysis of one of the screened film is compulsory.
