Course contents:

The first presentation of a specific segment of Czech film journalism which has not been thouroughfully discussed yet. Based on research realized on both FAMU and the Charles University´s Faculty of Arts, the workshop will adopt a form of a mini-conference with three lecturers (Anna Kopecka, Jakub Jiriste, Tereza Hribova) hosted by Jakub Felcman. After the presentation an open debate will také place.

Samizdat critics by top Czech essayist Jiri Cieslar, Czech New Wave director Pavel Juracek considered a StB agent, Jaroslav Dietl and Czech TV series productions as reviewed by samizdat publicists, an important series of Czech film reviews published dby exile magazíne The Voice of Home, Cinema as seen by Czech samizdat Sociological review, polemics on Milos Forman´s ?Hair?.
