SCRIPT REVISION MODULE

The Script Revision Workshop is an intensive close analysis of screenplay dramaturgy that prepares the writer for a page one rewrite.

This workshop includes an intense examination of all the components of narrative story structure including Character, Plot, Thematic construction and visual Style. Using deep analysis, deconstruction, and a method of reconstruction, the writer gains deep understanding of his story ambitions and is able, through supervised revision, to fully realize his narrative goals for his screenplay.

In intensive class meetings and individual tutorials the writer is taught a method of sequencing the screenplay action and tracking the characters in their relations to each other and arriving, finally, at deep understanding of the screenplay's dramatic structure, it's narrative strategies, and it's larger thematic ambitions.
