Certification is awarded by the dean based on warranted requiremets - Work performed beyond the norm for the school, participation in preparations of FAMUFEST, assistance in important events related to representing FAMU, participation in special inter-study and inter-faculty exercises and the like.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Credit evaluations are dependent upon time spent and intensity of work performed. Credit is awarded based on a written proposal by the department head or authorized instructor. (Regular tasks are awarded with 1-2 credits. For exceptionally complicated events, for example, leading the production of the FAMUFEST, up to 10 credits.
