Overview of various dramaturgy strategies, not only in film. Introduction to editing issues and the various roles of the scriptwriter and dramaturgist in film, theatre and radio.

- Course contents:

Introduction to a wider theory and historical context of the various forms of acting in relation to dramaturgy, scripts, dramas or notes. Broadening the view of the role of the scriptwriter beyond film arts towards theatre, editing and radio, performance or happening and specific approaces required by those.

Regular classes with open space for discussions and critical assessments of the material.

Credit is awarded for class participation (paper, discussion) and attendance with a maximum of 3 absences per semester. The exam will be assigned based on the completion of the course paper of a minimum of 5 standard pages.
