- Course contents:

Students write from class to class literary etudes over assigned topics. They learn to narrarate using images, work with film time, short and editing connections, signifying details. Students learn to write dialogues, develop characters, consider the history of characters, develop events, create significant images, create plots and write for the film image medium which will play out in relation to time, work with the sound track and purposeful descriptions.

- Planned learning activities and teaching methods:

Writing etudes, subject matter, synopses of future scripts. Presentation of one's writing through public reading in class. Dramaturgical script analysis.

Credit is provided for class attendance and participation, completion of the course paper, semester paper, participation in dramaturgy analyses of texts of one's own and the texts of other students.
