Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Students are acquainted with, in practice, studio lighting and the basics of working with lighting equipment. In the advanced version they also work with the lighting of a complex night atmosphere in the studio with complete lighting changes.

Acquired knowledge attained in study of other subjects and their direct linkages.

Recommended optional programme components:

Analysis of lighting constructions according to examples in significant films in world cinema.

Course contents:

Introductory classes and testing of the new DC 4K RED ONE digital camera. The lecturer is a professional cameraman and colorist at IO Postproduction. The students will have the opportunity to record test shots with the RED ONE camera and then analyse them on a SCRATH color corrector
