Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Being a part of the main seminar of the first year?s master program, this course is an essential part of the cinematography student?s education.

Basic experience as cinematographers, ability to handle essential filmmaking tasks.

Successful completion of seminar Cinematographers Workshop and workshop Lighting exercise 1.

Course contents:

Light tonality - 35mm film in studio, colour

creating atmospheres and moods through lighting;

scenic lighting to achieve emotional impact of a chosen concept

Each student shoots individually for one day.
