- Course contents:

This course focused on non-standard, uncommon processes in recording the film image. Students in this course are introduced to theory and practice of exceptional and peculiar processes in the creation of the film image. The use and implementation of the so-called „American Night and Evening“ and other various atypical image processes such as supplemental lighting of film stock or so-called non-bleaching processes. In theory analysis and film samples of given topics, students confirm knowledge from courses such as visual treatments of a non-standard image. In practical assignments students try procedures and tools used in their implementation (exposure conditions, image color tone, manners of supplemental lighting, accessories, filters and the like. Film examples are used in instruction in which non-standard images are used.
