Introduction to and instruction in classical film effects, prepared directly on the original negative. Fundamentals of digital image post-production.

Přednáška formou prezentace, obrazový doprovod,ukázky z tvorby klasických filmových triků prováděných v kameře a duplikačními technologiemi i v digitální postprodukci. Analýza ukázek s podrobným rozborem. Projekce trikových pasáží,vše za přítomnosti autora většiny těchto ukázek.Diskuse s posluchači o jejich projektech.

General knowledge of shooting the film image, recording with a film camera, optics, negative raw material (film stock), lab processes, image editing, knowledge of camera, optical, frequency and copying tricks.

1. Digital equipment and procedures, basic introduction
1.1.1. Silicon Graphics, Discreet Logic,
1.1.2. Introduction to technical standards, formats and resolutions used.
2. 2D graphics and 2D animation, basic practice
2.1.1. Image color correction, fundamental practice
2.1.2. Digital keying, fundamental practice
2.1.3. Other equipment used in digital image postproduction
3. 3D graphics and 3D animation, fundamental practice.
Preparations of effects projects: artistic proposals, storyboards, animation visualization
Overview and function of the main professions in modern VFX post-production.
