Aim: Introduction to commerial law in the extent of rights and obligations of the employer and employee. Additionally the students get involved with legal standards which adjust advertisement regulations, commercial competition, radio and television broadcast, obligations in press publishing, public rights offences, etc, in order to be prepared for further instruction in these areas.

- Course contents:

1) The Labor Code - introduction to labor legislation, basic differences between full-time employment and trade licenses.
2) Subjects to labor legislation relationships - employer and employee. Types of work relationships.
3) Formation of a work relationship. formation of work relationships for appointments.
4) Ending work relationships. Resignation and termination of work relationships.
5) work contracts concluded outside of working relationships.
6) Liability for damage in the labor code.
7) Advertisement regulation
8) TV and Radio broadcast regulation, requirements for TV and radio operations.
9) Audio-visual regulations and legislation regarding stat suppor and development of Czech cinema.
10) Press regulation, requirements for periodicals publication. Publishing non-periodical publications.
11) Concluding contractual relationships with foreigners, International property rights laws.
12) Tenders, unfair tenders, individual essential foundations of unfair negotiations.
13) Administrative code. Offense law. Public administration organizations.

Oral exam:
Student assessment will originate in the exam whose objective will be the good bearing in labor code and medial legislation, unfair competition legislation and ability to apply the appropriate legal norms in practice. To successfully sit the test at least 70% attendance at lectures is required.
