Kamer Skura is an artists group founded on 12.2.1996 in Ostrava. The members are anonymous.

Kamera Skura began to develop it work in the mid-1990s in the Ostrava area. This region of the Czech Republic is marked by a long tradition of mining and manufacturing activities and currently is going through a painful economic restructuralization. Opposing economic forces and bitter social tension, which are part of this restructuralization, continue to influence the form of Kamera Skura's arts projects. In spite of this the group continues to gradually extend its radius of activities. The main feature traceable to the original social context, undoubtedly, is the intentional style dis-unity of individual implementations which significantly come from intimate stories (coming from the depths of the mythology of the group) to the clearly defined social probes. In 2003 Kamera Skura with the Slovak group Kunst-Fu represented the Czech Republic at the Bienale in Venice with the project SUPERSTART - a three meter sculpture - A stylized figure of Jesus Christ exercising with the gymnastic rings.
