The purpose of the subject is to provide students with possibilities of offset prints and their preparation.
Final assignment - catalogue of the product is the last of task after 4 semesters of subject Techniques of Photography. Students exhibit their abilities which they gained during their studies.
- Mode of study:

1.Preparation of photographs for print, certificated preprint, print profiles.
Practical assignment: Excursion to the printing station.
2.Final assignment verifies practical knowledge of students. Student must prove his ability of technical performance and aesthetic value of his work.
Practical assignment: Catalog of some product or several products. Format of the catalog: longer side min. 30 cm, 8-12 pictures on min. 10 pages including at least two double that all made as a book. Typography of the cover sheet would be consulted during graphical design classes. Photographic technique and topics will be consulted individually. In case of atypical form of catalog it is necessary to present at least 4 photographs 30x40 cm.
Grading:
A graded credit: given on the basis of handing in assignments that are graded in respect to how they comply with both the assignment and the quality of their processing.
Participation: the students will not be graded unless they have at least 80% attendance in the course.

Student learns about printings from lectures, analysis of samples and discussion with the professionals on dtp.
Discussion about the catalogue and solutions of nonstandard procedures during the work will be work out in the studio with the teacher.
