Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim is, based on your own experiments with photographic picture and its alternative forms, to inovate both formal skills and content field of operation. Students have chance to make the old photographic techniques alive by adding their specific know-how, create their own cameras and tools, work with chemical substances in non traditional ways, cross with other medias, re-create, draw on technical imperfection of picture or move their expression into three dimensional objects. We are speaking more about inovation and understanding photography as space for new opportunities to express one´s autonomous reflections.

Mode of study:

The classes will be held twice a month, in form of collective meetings and reflections of progressing works bonded to topic set at the beginning. Within meetings also practical examples of techniques will be experienced, as well as lectures about artists of alternative photography. E-mail consulting of continuous works of students is welcome.

Course contents:

Content of modul Photography and experiment is creation consisting of authorial technological techniques of students on topic The point of view. This modul opens space for those, who are curious about nonconventional photographic picture, original formal realization using analogue or digital photography, with opportunity to cross to other artistic disciplines.
