Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Expansion of the expression spectra of photography overlapping into installations, objects and digital processing and animation.

Work on projects in the context of personal and modern art.

Mode of study:

On-going - during group consultations

Final - at the group presentation of achieved resuld and work review.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Completion of „New Media and Multi-media 1 - 2.“

Course contents:

Expanding student projects into new areas of expression. Goal-oriented work with inspirational source and investigating appropriate forms of expression in areas which in any manner overlap the medium of photography. Consideration of current events in art and working with them. Arranging projects into context. Working on individual tasks which have arisen from the to-date work of the students.

Recommended or required reading:

Flexible - course content corresponds to topics which are current in the projects in the students and current events.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Emphasis is placed on active participation in class and completion of the assigned tasks which are subject to evaluation in open discussions. An important part is the assessment of personal contribution and consideration of one's work.
