- Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim of the exercise is to create the complete sound element of a given AV project where the student must demonstrate the skill in sound dramaturgy thought and management of sound tehcniques and the necessary technology.
- Mode of study:

A Inter-discipline exercise which includes the entire usual technological process in the creation of an audio-visual work.
First Phase: script study, consultations with the director and Sound Dept. instructor, preparations for shooting and the shooting itself in a determined environment (studio, exterior or real world).
In shooting the student, as the sound master, directs the work of their assistant as the microphone - usually a Sound Dept. student underclassman.
Second Phase: Completion work - setting sound to the image, cleaning, adjustments and synchronization of the recorded sound, supplementing with music, background and sound atmosphere from shooting or selected from the archives. The final operation is the sound mixing of the prepared recordings, setting into multiple tracks.

Completion of the practice tasks in the previous study period.
Active approach to work in preparation and shooting and post-production. On-going consultations with the instructor.

Moderated and non-moderated discussion, script and shooting material analysis, sound post-production consultation, completed film screening.

Credit is awarded based on the commission's assessment of the submitted film and the written explication.
Also judged is how well the assignment was adhered to and the quality of development.
