Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim of the course is music preparations for the student and their own creative work in various professional specialized audio-visual creations.

Lectures with samples.

General interest in music issues.

Course contents:

The course is designed especially for students who have limited previous formal musical education and prepares them for future creative work in the various branches of audiovisual work. Students learn about basic music terms, learn to perceive individual musical elements, and recognise their specific effect on the overall expression of a musical composition. The curriculum includes illustrative examples.
