Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Flash - as the simplest and very effective program for 2D animation.

To teach students how to work with it (Flash) / expand their already existing skills in Flash. Introduce students to the advantages and potential of that program. Instruct in orderliness, lucidity and organization in 2D work.

Ways of using Flash animation - animatik, internet, banner activity, film.

The particulars of Flash, film types / genres, with which Flash functions best.

Mode of study:

Practical exercises in Flash, creation of several exercises/tasks.

Rendering of the semester film on the topic: Proverbs.

Discussions, analysis of film samples created in 2D.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

1. Knowledge of hand-drawn animation

2. Directorial, screenwriting and artistic skills

Recommended optional programme components:

No requirements for this course.

Course contents:

Course Character:

Instruct students how to work in Flash. Creation of the exercise (His day, Lipsynch)

and semester film in Flash

Curriculum:

- Work surroundings, work system.

- organization of symbols in the library

- working with a timeline

- Storyboard / Animatik

- Porthole animation / Tweens

- sound, music, Lipsynch, Export.

practical exercises, creation of a short animated film

- participation, interest and activity in lectures

- development of assigned exercises
